Photos From Thor 4 Set Show Hemsworth and Pratt In Costume

With filming underway in Australia, new images from the set of Thor: Love and Thunder have been released. These shots give us our first glimpses at Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Chris Pratt (Peter Quill/Star Lord) in new costumes.

For the most part, Pratt looks rather much the same since the events of Avengers: Endgame, while a ripped Hemsworth sports shoulder-length hair and a red sleeveless jacket.

In a separate Twitter post, Sean Gunn (Kraglin) is snapped donning a cybernetic headpiece, echoing the late Yondu (Michael Rooker), who died at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Here’s hoping that Kraglin has mastered the Yaka Arrow.

Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth film in the series, and will close out Phase 4 of the MCU, following on from 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok. With Taika Waititi returning to direct, the film’s cast includes Natalie Portman as Jane Foster/Mighty Thor, last seen in Thor: The Dark World, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Jamie Alexander as Sif.

Thor: Love and Thunder is due to release February 18, 2022. Phase 4 will include Black WidowShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the untitled Spider-Man 3 sequel, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

If you’re all caught up with the MCU and want more (as do most of us), Wandavision premiered on Disney+ January 15. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set to debut on the platform from March 19, 2021, followed by Loki sometime in May.

Other planned shows throughout the year include What If…?, a Hawkeye series, and Ms. Marvel. As recently reported, the runtime for Black Widow was confirmed, and will serve as the longest non-Avenger film in more than three years.
