A new deleted scene from Deadpool & Wolverine has filled a plot hole left in the film and reveals an expected payoff between B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) and Peter (Rob Delaney). In the scene titled “Daddy’s in Love,” as shared on Twitter by The Hollywood Reporter, B-15 and Peter walk along an apartment hallway, where he thanks her for “that Laura thing.”
Laura/X-23, the cloned daughter of Logan/Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), reprised her role from Logan (2017) to feature alongside Jackman again in Deadpool & Wolverine. Despite appearing in the final scene, the reasoning behind how Laura escaped the Void beforehand is vague. The cut scene, as seen below, implies the TVA bent a rule or two to ensure her safety.
B-15 reminds Peter that “we don’t speak of that” before the two characters share an on-screen kiss. After, Peter returns to an apartment he shares with Kidpool and Headpool, two Deadpool variants. He tells them, “daddy’s in love,” and joins them on a sofa with popcorn.
