A deleted scene from Deadpool & Wolverine has disassembled two Marvel superheroes in less than a minute after Marvel announced the digital and DVD/Blu-ray release dates for the film. One of the most significant extras for audiences to discover are the deleted scenes, including one making fun of two Marvel heroes courtesy of Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds).
The scene, titled ‘Elevator Ride’, features Wilson and TVA agent Paradox (Matthew MacFadyen), as they enter an elevator together, with Paradox providing a multiverse-related exposition dump. The scene would have appeared during the early stages of the film, starring Hugh Jackman alongside Reynolds as the titular Wolverine.
“Mr Wilson, this may come as a shock to a narcissistic, blathering bag of meat like yourself but your universe is not the only one in existence,” Paradox explains as they enter an elevator. “Oh please,” Wilson quips. “You think I haven’t seen Doctor Ant and the Quantumverse of Madness.”

The line references two multiverse-centric Marvel films, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Phase 5 opener Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, a film that notably introduced a new variant of Kang confined to the Quantum Realm.
Deadpool & Wolverine stars Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, Dafne Keen, Jennifer Garner, Wesley Snipes, Chris Evans and Channing Tatum, and receives a digital release on October 1. The film will arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD a few weeks later on October 22.
Shawn Levy recently revealed one of the strangest set directions he’d ever given filming Deadpool & Wolverine, featuring lubricant and Hugh Jackman himself.
