Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Has A Disney+ Release Date

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has an official release date on Disney Plus – meaning Marvel fans who’ve subscribed to the platform will soon be able to watch the film at their leisure at no extra cost. The Phase 5 opener will land on the streamer on May 17, 2023 – exactly three months to the date since it made its debut in cinema. Make sure to jot down the date in your diary, as that’s just under three weeks away.

Quantumania, following on from 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, picks up the story with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), who has attained celebrity status as an Avenger. After Cassie and the Van Dynes are drawn into the Quantum Realm, Lang is forced to confront Kang the Conquerer, a ruthless adversary who can travel the multiverse and destroy timelines.

Quantumania joins other recent Marvel films to join the platform, including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which arrived on February 1 and set a new record, and last year’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will arrive in cinemas on February 17, 2023, starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Kathryn Newton, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Bill Murray, David Dastmalchian, Corey Stoll, and Jonathan Majors. Plus, talks are underway surrounding Ant-Man 4, as reported by FlickLuster.

What are your thoughts on the MCU as the series moves into Phase 5? We’d be keen to hear from you, so do feel free to leave a comment further down. Next on the MCU roster is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, which flies into cinemas on May 3, 2023.
