Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan Season 3 Set For December 2022

The long-awaited third season of Prime Video’s Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will debut on Prime Video on December 21, 2022 – and it’s only been a staggering 38 months since Season 2. As confirmed in a press release from Prime Video, the third season of the spy thriller that stars John Krasinski (The Office) in the titular role “finds Jack Ryan on the run and in a race against time.”

“Jack is wrongly implicated in a larger conspiracy and suddenly finds himself a fugitive out in the cold.” the logline continues. “Now, wanted by both the CIA and an international rogue faction that he has uncovered, Jack is forced underground, crisscrossing Europe, trying to stay alive, while preventing a massive global conflict.”

The third season will see the return of Wendell Pierce as James Greer and Michael Kelly as Mike November. Additionally, a wealth of new series regulars will join the series, including Nina Hoss as Alena Kovac and Betty Gabriel as Elizabeth Wright. According to a story from Deadline, it was reported earlier in the year that beyond Season 3, the fourth season of Jack Ryan would also serve as the last.

Fear not, as it was reported that a new spin-off featuring Michael Peña (Ant-Man, Narcos: Mexico) in the role of Domingo “Ding” Chavez would pick up after the conclusion of Jack Ryan. Peña will make his first appearance in Jack Ryan’s Season 3 finale – before becoming a series regular for Season 4.

The political action thriller will return for eight episodes and stream exclusively on Prime Video, along with the first two seasons if you need a recap before the new season begins. Jack Ryan is co-produced by Amazon Studios, Paramount Television Studios, and Skydance Television. John Krasinski, Andrew Form, Allyson Seeger, Vaun Wilmott, Brad Fuller, and Michael Bay serve as executive producers.
