The release date for Loki Season 2 has been amended. Originally scheduled to air on October 6, the time-bending series, much like the God of Mischief, has slipped back in time. Loki Season 2 will now land on Disney Plus one day earlier, October 5 at 6pm PT/9pm ET, which is a plus for fans eager to watch the next chapter in the Asgardian’s time-travelling adventures.
In the UK, the opening episode of Loki will be available to stream at 2am, so stock up on some caffeine if you’re preparing to wait until then. Miss Minutes, the animated talking clock from the series, announced the news in a small teaser via Marvel’s X (formerly Twitter), channel, seen below.
“Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority,” a Marvel synopsis for Season 2 reads.

“Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15 and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.”
The first season of Loki is available for those of you (me included) who need a (Victor) timely refresher before the new season begins (got to love a time-themed pun).
Loki stars Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, with Jonathan Majors, Ke Huy Quan (who plays O.B, a tech wizard at the TVA), and Owen Wilson.
In other Marvel news, Insomniac Games confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would run at 40 FPS upon launch next month.
