Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 SDC22 Trailer In Words

A trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 has been unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con 2022. However, we’ve got no trailer at present – so a word picture it is. Following the teaser came the confirmation from series director James Gunn that this third film will serve as the final chapter of the characters. The trailer teases Rocket’s origins and provides an update on Gamora since the events of Avengers: Endgame as leader of the Ravagers.

The trailer teases Will Poulter as a golden Adam Warlock, “butch Groot” and new suits for the Guardians. Plus – Quill is devastated that Gamora fails to remember anything about him – and their relationship. On the panel, Gunn announced that the film would serve as “the final arc that we began at the very beginning of Guardians of the Galaxy, with Peter Quill, with Rocket, seeing where Nebula goes, and even Kraglin, who started out as saying one or two lines in the first movie and is now a main Guardian of the Galaxy.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 will star Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Sean Gunn, and Sylvester Stallone. Newcomers include Chukwudi Iwuji, who confirmed on the panel that he’d be portraying High Evolutionary, Daniela Melchior, Nico Santos, and Maria Bakalova – who’ll be playing Cosmo the dog).

Most recently, the Guardians made a fleeting appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder – before going their separate ways from the Asgardian god. Their last solo film – which feels like an age ago now – was 2017’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will see a cinematic release on May 5, 2023. For everything Marvel and more – FlickLuster will keep you covered with a wealth of new superhero stuff – including the announcement of two new Avengers films in 2025.
