Fear The Walking Dead Will End With Season 8, AMC Confirms

AMC has confirmed the eighth season of Fear The Walking Dead will be it’s last. Having debuted to audiences in 2015, Fear was the first spin-off to land on AMC’s network after the parent series, The Walking Dead, and helped to expand the horror drama’s universe with crossover episodes and characters from the original story. These characters, some of whom appear in new photos from AMC, include Morgan (Lennie James) and Sherry (Christine Evangelista).

“It’s a truly exciting year for The Walking Dead Universe, as we conclude an epic journey on Fear the Walking Dead, which became one of the most successful shows in the history of cable television,” a press release from AMC reads. The new season picks up the action seven years after the events of the Season 7 finale. There’s even a first-look trailer featuring Madison Clark (Kim Dickens), who reprised her role after exiting in Season 4.

According to the series synopsis, the survivors delivered to the island are conditioned to live “under PADRE’s cynical rule. With our characters demoralized and dejected, the task of reigniting belief in a better world rests with the person Morgan and Madison set out to rescue in the first place — Morgan’s daughter, Mo. “

Fear the Walking Dead stars Lennie James, Dickens, Colman Domingo, Austin Amelio, Christine Evangelista, Karen David, Danay Garcia, Rubén Blades, and Jenna Elfman. For more The Walking Dead content, take a look at FlickLuster’s review for The Walking Dead’s series finale.
