Chace Crawford Lined Up For Cameo As The Deep In Gen V

Chace Crawford is set to reprise his role as The Deep in Gen V. The actor joins other co-stars from The Boys in the upcoming superhero spin-off, set within Godolkin University, a campus created for the next generation of super-powered wannabes. As confirmed in a story by Entertainment Weekly, Crawford will make a splash in Gen V while the circumstances surrounding his cameo are kept under wraps.

The Deep, real name Kevin Moskowitz, is an amphibious, antagonistic superhero often ridiculed by others who question his relevance as one of the Seven, Vought’s most elite superhero group. A fall from grace leads the Deep to soul search and join the Church of the Collective. He marries Cassandra Schwartz, who aids in rebuilding his image with the Seven in Season 3.

The Deep can speak and interact with sea creatures such as lobsters and dolphins (until he kills one in a road accident, and who can forget about poor Timothy, the octopus). Then there were his sexual antics with Ambrosia, another octopus in last year’s controversial Herogasm.”

Gen V stars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi. Guest stars include Clancy Brown and Jason Ritter. Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit and P.J. Byrne reprise their roles from the parent series.

The first three episodes of Gen V will debut on September 29, before the final five air weekly until the finale date on November 3.

The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Kapon, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jensen Ackles, Karen Fukuhara, Dominique McElligott, Simon Pegg, Chace Crawford, Jesse Usher, Colby Minifie, and Giancarlo Esposito. All three seasons are available to watch now on Prime Video.

Season 5 of The Boys was confirmed in February.
