Tom Baker and Louise Jameson Reunite For Doctor Who Audio Series

Tom Baker and Louise Jameson are reuniting for a brand-new audio series in partnership with Big Finish. A newly released photo, as seen via The Radio Times, featuring Baker and Jameson together, has been released ahead of two upcoming adventures titled The Hellwood Inheritance and The Memory Thieves. The two stories will be launched in a single box set via Collector’s Edition CD and digital download.

The first story, penned by Alan Barnes, features The Doctor and Leela in a haunted safari park. Barnes is known for writing the animated Tenth Doctor story The Infinite Quest, and has penned several audio stories for the Fourth Doctor, including Gallery of Ghouls, The Planet of Witches, and White Ghosts. Barnes has further contributed to audio aventures for the third, sixth, and seventh incarnations of the Time Lord.

The second story in the boxset, a contribution from Phil Mulryne, The Memory Thieves, sends the Doctor and Leela to a community under threat from monsters. Mulryne has written for the First, Fourth, Fifth, and War Doctors.

In a statement from producer David Richardson, he said he was “blissfully enjoying the Blu-ray release of Doctor Who – The Collection: Season 15 and happily reflecting on how lucky we are to be working with Tom Baker and Louise Jameson again at Big Finish, on brand new stories in time and space.”

“The Fourth Doctor and Leela are a perfect pairing – the bohemian Time Lord and the fearless warrior – and it was a blast to take them to new places in this new box set of The Fourth Doctor Adventures.”

Tamzin Outhwaite, Rosalie Craig, and Richard James join in supporting roles.
