The Boys Season 4 – First Look At Firecracker And Sage

The creators of The Boys have revealed the first exclusive look at two new superheroes joining the cast for the drama’s fourth season. As seen via the show’s official Twitterer account, the pictures reveal both Susan Heyward as Sister Sage and Valorie Curry as Firecracker kitted out in costume.

The makers of the superhero drama, which wrapped its third season back in the summer, further captioned the post with short descriptions of their characters. “Meet Sage. She’s already a thousand steps ahead of you,” the post reads for Susan Heyward’s Sister Sage. Firecracker, played by Valorie Curry, is described as having a “short fuse.”

Firecracker and Sister Sage are also entirely unconnected to Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comic book source material – unlike previous villains such as Stormfront and Soldier Boy. The details of their role within the show are being kept under wraps, as plot details for the season ahead remain unknown. Curry is best known for providing motion capture and her voice for the role of Kara in Detroit: Become Human, while Susan Heyward is known for her role as Tamika Ward in Orange Is The New Black

As reported by FlickLuster, The Boys was renewed for a fourth season in June, and Kripke said that they were “thrilled to continue Butcher and the Boys’ fight against Homelander and the Seven, as well as comment on the insane world we’re living in.”

The upcoming fourth season has yet to receive an official release,  but FlickLuster will keep you updated as and when we know more. The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Kapon, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jensen Ackles, Karen Fukuhara, Dominique McElligott, Simon Pegg, Chace Crawford, Jesse Usher, Colby Minifie, and Giancarlo Esposito. All three seasons are available to watch now on Amazon Prime.
