The Boys Season 3 Adds Three New Cast Members

The Boys Season 3 has added three new cast members, with Frances Turner, Kristin Booth, and Jack Doolan joining the Amazon Prime series. According to a report from Deadline, Turner will star as Monique, wife of Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), who was previously played by Alvina August in Season 1, while Booth and Doolan will feature as superhero siblings Tessa and Tommy, better known as the TNT Twins.

Turner is best known for her roles in The Man In The High Castle, and currently plays the role of Dr. Lyn Malvo in New Amsterdam, with stints in Blue BloodsLethal Weapon, and Quantico. Booth has appeared in shows including Signed, Sealed, DeliveredWorkin’ Moms, and The Hot Zone: Anthrax, produced by Ridley Scott. Doolan is best known for his work on Marcella and White Gold.

We know so far that a release date has yet to be set for The Boys Season 3, but filming wrapped back in September according to Karl Urban, (Billy Butcher), who praised the cast, crew, and showrunner Eric Kripke and described Season 3 as “next level bat shit crazy good” in an Instagram post.

The third season will further star Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, the elected leader of another superhero group, Payback, with a bloody history dating back to fighting German soldiers in World War II.

Elsewhere, there’s the head-exploding assassin to contend with, revealed to be Victoria Neuman, (Claudi Doumit), in the Season 2 finale. The new season will further include the most risqué storyline from the source material, Herogasm

Laz Alonso revealed earlier in the year that Season 3 would be the bloodiest so far. Alonso was informed by the show’s head makeup artist, that they had used “over a gallon of blood in Season 2, believe it or not.” As for Season 3, Alonso confirmed that they had already gone through “three and a half gallons of blood.”

The Boys Seasons 1-2 are currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
