The Fast and Furious franchise is gearing up for one last ride with its upcoming two-part finale. It’s hard to say what’s next for the racing series since the ninth film, F9, took the series into space and revived Han from the dead. The good news is, we won’t have long to wait. The first exclusive poster for Fast 10 (stylised X) has been unveiled online, and there’s a further promise of a trailer on the horizon. In the poster, seen further below, Vin Diesel is pictured clutching his iconic crucifix necklace, while the tagline teases the beginning of “the end of the road.”
Sharing the teaser to his Twitter account, the film’s lead star, who has appeared in every Fast instalment save for Tokyo Drift and the Hobbs & Shaw spin-off, confirmed that the Fast X Trailer Takeover fan event would celebrate the launch of the next film in the series on February 9 (Thursday) in Los Angeles. Diesel added that the first Fast 10 trailer would make its worldwide debut on February 10 (Friday, 8am PT).

Plot details surrounding the finale have been kept under wraps. The newcomers to the sequel include Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones), Alan Ritchson (Reacher), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), and Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad). Rita Moreno (West Side Story) will join the Fast cast as Dom’s grandmother, fulfiling each film’s running tradition of adding another new, unknown family member to proceedings.
Fast 10 Part 1 is due for release in UK and US cinemas on May 19, 2023. While the flagship series will soon race across the finish line, there’s every opportunity for the Fast cinematic universe to expand with spin-offs, prequels, and more.
Fast X will star Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Sung Kang, Charlize Theron, and Nathalie Emmanuel.
