The cast for Daredevil: Born Again continues to expand, but there’s still no word on Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson reprising their respective roles as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson. Courtesy of a report from Deadline, the Daredevil reboot continues to expand on its cast, bringing in Sandrine Holt, known for her work on House of Cards, The Expanse, and a minor role in Better Call Saul.
The second addition to the roster is Margarita Levieva, known for appearances in ABC’s Revenge, The Deuce, and starring alongside David Tennant in ITV’s upcoming mini-series, Litvinenko. Fan concern grows for the notable absence of Karen and Foggy’s characters, who had featured across all three seasons of Daredevil before its cancellation. “Sure, these are cool, but I’m still waiting for the Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson announcements,” said one Twitter user. “I’m *sure* they’re coming.”
One Twitter user said they would “not watch the new Daredevil show if Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson” if they failed to feature in the reboot. Another Twitter user shared their thoughts on the casting news and the radio silence surrounding their characters. “People keep getting cast for this that aren’t Deborah Ann Woll or Elden Henson and it is driving me nuts.”
Deborah Ann Woll recently discussed her future as Karen Page, confirming that she hadn’t been approached by Marvel to reprise her role in the reboot. “I would be thrilled to get to be a part of it. They know where I am. Like I said, I love the character Karen Page,” she said.
Daredevil: Born Again is an 18-episode series expected to arrive on Disney+ sometime in Spring 2024, with Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio reprising their roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
