A fan photo with Andrew Lincoln in Paris has renewed hope that the actor will return for Daryl’s solo series set in France and team up with the archer post-The Walking Dead. The photo was shared on the AndyLincolnNews Twitter Account on October 18, showing Lincoln with a fan on the Rue des Rosiers. Lincoln is clean-shaven, so here’s hoping if he does make a comeback to the series, he’ll have the infamous Rick beard again.
The new series featuring Norman Reedus is presently filming in the French Capital, which has prompted the internet to speculate whether Lincoln, who exited The Walking Dead in Season 9, is filming scenes with Reedus in the city. Of course, he could be on holiday or passing through to send his best to his former co-star. It’s speculation at this stage until any official announcements are made.

Scott M. Gimple, the Chief Content Officer for The Walking Dead, recently described Daryl as “a fish out of water to start with. If Daryl finds himself with new people, he’s a fish out of water. In France, in a country that’s going through the apocalypse, [it’s] an entirely different thing.”
Lincoln is expected to return to The Walking Dead universe alongside Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne, in a six-part limited series. “This has been the most extraordinary journey playing Rick Grimes for the best part of a decade,” Lincoln said at the time. “I’m so excited to be returning to the screen as Rick, reuniting with Danai as Michonne, and bringing the fans an epic love story to add to the Walking Dead Universe.”
