Wandavision Release Date Potentially Leaked By Disney+

A potential release date for Wandavision may have just been leaked by Disney Plus. The leak, if proven true, was spotted by Murphy’s Multiverse, where details were discovered within the source code of Wandavision’s official landing page.

The release date is listed as  2020-11-27, or otherwise Friday, November 27. The release date is certainly a lot sooner than some would have anticipated.

To add more credibility to the leak, Disney+ shows often premiere on Fridays.

According to Murphy’s Multiverse, the information was added on September 18, as part of a Bundle update. For the sake of verifying that the release date is credible, Murphy’s Multiverse ran a check against The Mandalorian Season 2, and discovered that its release date was located “in the same spot that we found WandaVision’s”.

While not confirmed, the leak appears credible enough to suggest that Wandavision will be arriving on Disney Plus from November 27.

For variety, the source code pages for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki, were checked too. Loki is on null for 2021, while The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has been given a suspected placeholder release date of December 31, 2021.

Wandavision stars Elisabeth Olson as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany as Vision. Jac Schaeffer takes to the helm as the show’s head writer, alongside director Matt Shakman, best known for his work on the seventh season of Game Of Thrones. (The epic final battle sequence from The Spoils Of War, anyone?)

In other MCU news, Marvel was forced to delay three of it’s intended Phase 4 films, as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Most notably is the second delay for the long-awaited Black Widow into 2021.

Now slated for May 7, 2021, Black Widow takes the place of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, with Eternals pushed back to November 5, 2021.

At this stage, the films scheduled for 2022, including Thor: Love and Thunder, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and the sequels to Black Panther and Captain Marvel are unaffected.
