A TV spot for Venom: The Last Dance has revealed the strangest of all the symbiotic creations seen to date.
The threequel is proud to present, as seen in the clip further below, the Venom frog. Not a typo, the venom frog. The trouble is, the frog should not look as adorable as it does. Or is that just me?
The titular alien is back in action with best buddy Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy), as the duo face their biggest threat yet, the arrival of Knull, the creator of the symbiotes, and a legion of gooey monsters ready to unleash chaos on Earth. “It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a fish, and a… frog?” a narrator quips as the symbiote transforms from a fish and merges into the amphibian.

Venom: The Last Dance marks the final film in the Venom trilogy, with Marvel fans keeping their fingers crossed for Hardy and the symbiote to return in the future, following a post-credits scene in Venom: Let There Be Carnage, which teased the idea of a connection to the MCU the threequel could, potentially, explore. Fingers crossed…
According to an official synopsis from Columbia Pictures (via Variety), “Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.”
Venom: The Last Dance further stars Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Peggy Lu, Rhys Ifans, Stephen Graham, Alanna Ubach, and Cristo Fernández. Written and directed by Kelly Marcel, the threequel is scheduled to swing into cinemas on October 25, 2024.
