The Boys Season 3 Will Feature The Raunchy ‘Herogasm’ Story

An upcoming episode in Season 3 of The Boys will feature one of the most risqué storylines from the comic book source material. The Boys creator Eric Kripke confirmed in a Twitter post that the sixth episode of the new season will cover a storyline from the comics called ‘Herogasm’.

To put this into context, Vought sends the supes to a private island so they can take part in one huge orgy. I’m not even kidding. Above a screenshot of a script written by Jessica Chou, Kripke captioned the post saying that since “day one, everyone dared me to make this episode.”

The idea of developing the storyline for the series adaptation has been floating around for a while but never received the green light. In a recent Reddit AMA, Kripke said that they’d “JUST figured out how to do Herogasm!!”

“It’ll come in Season 3 maybe (if we get picked up for Season 3). I’ve really wanted to do it, but needed to figure out our twist on it, so it’s not just an hour of hardcore porn. But I think we got it!! Super excited about that.”

The Boys Season 3 has yet to receive a release date, but filming is due to begin quite soon. The first two seasons of The Boys are currently available to watch via Amazon Prime.

As previously reported, Season 3 will introduce notable characters from the comics such as Soldier Boy (Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles), Tek-Knight, and Crimson Countess.

A spin-off to The Boys is also in development. Reported to be set in “America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (and run by Vought International),” the show will explore “the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.”
